The Wilder Kaiser golf course in Ellmau has developed into a first class golfing showpiece. Stretching out right at the foot of the majestic mountain range is a wonderful “garden” with lakes, streams, trees, bushes and 18 holes, 27 from summer 2005.

With environmental concerns ever in mind in the construction of the golf course, intensive agricultural land has been transformed into a richly structured recreational area. The image of the "Wilder Kaiser" and the village of Ellmau displays an optical and playfully charming contrast. An old farmhouse was adapted to provide a club house. Spacious and nevertheless cosy, golfers will find all the equipment they could possibly need. Reception, pro-shop, changing rooms, caddy room and last but not least, a cosy old club restaurant with a wonderful view of the Wilder Kaiser.
