SkiWelt Hopfgarten
A highlight at SkiWelt - the first gondola lift equipped with heated seats! The new lift will take skiers from the halfway station directly up to the Hohe Salve - in only 5.67 minutes! It replaces the 1-seater chairlift from the Rigi up to the Hohe Salve. The 3-seater chairlift from the halfway station to the Rigi will continue to operate.

SkiWelt Brixen
With the construction of the "SkiWeltbahn" 8-seater gondola lift in Brixen up to the Westendorfer Choralpe, Bergbahn Brixen will, from winter 2008/09, close the last gap in the ski area. This connection means that Westendorf will now be fully integrated into SkiWelt.

WOW! IT’S SO ORANGE!

Equipped with heated seats and a hood, it replaces the Silleralm 3-seater chairlift.

SkiWelt Ellmau
Full complement of snowmakers with towers and cannons on the Hartkaiser valley run as far as the halfway station and on the blue "Köglbahn" slope. Construction of a new fill pipe from the valley up to the Rübezahl pumping station. Improvement by 50 l/sec at the Rübezahl pumping station, also with new equipment up to the mountain. 
 
SkiWelt Scheffau
The Jochstuben reservoir is being extended from approx. 70,000 m³ to 170,000 m³.
This means the artificial snowmaking capacity is being increased from 250 l/sec to 410 l/sec.
In Scheffau there are in total 150 snowmakers, of which 92 are towers and 58 cannons.

WOW! UP, UP AND AWAY...

SkiWelt Westendorf
On 24th July 08 the first cut of the spade to mark the start of the building of the Choralmbahn in Westendorf was made. This new lift will replace the Alpenrose chairlift. The valley station is situated at the end of the Windau run no. 111 near the Gassnerwirt inn.
