Bon appétit at the Hochfilzer
Enjoy the excellent cuisine of the Hochfilzer Half Board
Our Hochfilzer Half Board promises pure indulgence. In the morning you can look forward to a rich breakfast buffet with many regional and homemade delicacies, in the afternoon you can fortify yourself at the cake buffet (summer) or with a warming homemade soup (winter). For dinner we serve a 4-course menu. Our chef Stefan tries to cater for all dietary requirements or intolerances. Our culinary offer is rounded off by our weekly theme evenings: the farmer’s buffet, the gala dinner and the barbecue evening (in summer) are very popular.
Our breakfast buffet includes:
- Spreads with herbs from our garden
- Eggs – freshly prepared: scrambled eggs, fried eggs, omelettes
- Wide range of breads, cereals and yoghurts
- Variety of cheeses and sausages
- Seasonal fruit and fresh fruit salad
Every day from 6.30 pm, chef Stefan and his team spoil you with lovingly prepared menus. The 4-course evening menu always consists of a salad from the buffet, a starter, a choice of 3 main courses (always vegetarian) and a selection of desserts. Vegan, gluten-free and lactose-free menus are available on request.
Tradition meets modernity - our new dining room
We are very proud to be able to pamper you in our newly renovated dining room. Christoph Hochfilzer has taken great care to combine tradition and modernity. Many wooden elements and natural materials have been used. The colourful paintings by his uncle, the artist Andreas Feigl, not only decorate the walls but also tell the story of the Hochfilzer family. So you can enjoy the art on the plate as well as the art on the walls.
Whether for your arrival or to round off your vacation day, our bar team is looking forward to welcoming you! Our hotel bar is open daily from 1 pm. The open fireplace and the sun terrace invite you to linger. Popular highlights are the weekly zither evening and live music on Sunday evening with changing music program.
Our 400-year-old wine cellar is filled with treasures from Austrian and international wineries. Junior chef Christoph Hochfilzer describes the world of wine as his passion. You can therefore be sure that you will only find the best and finest wines on our menu.
