With almost 400 inhabitants, Rattenberg is the smallest city in Austria. The medieval pedestrian zone is dominated by the unique show craft of the numerous glass companies. The historic center is built in the Inn-Salzach style and is now a pedestrian zone. Here the Südtiroler Strasse forms the busiest part of the traffic-free zone. The Inn cycle path also leads directly past Rattenberg, a detour to the center is definitely worth it.
