Allergy sufferers

I have an allergy - is that a problem?
When booking your room, please let us know if you have some kind of allergy or food intolerance.
We are happy to provide an allergy bedding for you and our kitchen team will leave nothing to be desired.
Additionally we offer 3 accessible and allergy friendly rooms, one in our Alpenpension Claudia.
Please let us know in advance if you prefer one of these rooms.

Lifts / Elevators

Are there any lifts in the hotel?
There are 3 lifts in the main building. In our Appartment Haus Garden (opposite the main building) and in the Alpenpension Claudia there are no lifts.

Bathrobes and Towels

Are thery any bathrobes or towels in my room?
Bathrobes will be provided in your room, towels for swimming and sauna can be found in the pool and sauna area.
We kindly ask you to use your towels anywhere there.

Train stations

I will travel by train. How do I get from the train stations (Kufstein, Wörgl, St. Johann) to the hotel?
By bus ... Please find the timetables here: www.postbus.at
By taxi ... We are happy to organise the transfer for you or there are several taxi companies just outside the train stations.


Are there any rooms for disabled people?
Not all rooms are equipped for disabled guests. Please let us know if you need a lift in your bathroom or a wheelchair. Additionally we offer 3 accessible allergy friendly rooms. Please let us know in advance if you prefer one of these rooms.


Which methods of payment do you accept?
We accept cash and debit cards (pin code required), Visa, Mastercard, Diners or Amex.
There is a 2% discount on your lodging costs (without tax!), if you pay cash.

All rooms are ready from 3 pm.

All rooms must be cleared by 11 am.

Meal times

What time is dinner/ breakfast?
Breakfast: 8 am - 10.30 am (on request also at 7.30 am)
Dinner: 6.30 pm - 8 pm


Is there a place where we can leave our bicycles?
There is a bike room only a two minutes walk away from the hotel.
Please ask for the key at the reception desk.


Are pets allowed in the hotel?
We are a pet-friendly hotel. When booking a room, please let us know that you bring your pet with you.

There are no pets allowed in the Appartment Haus Garden (opposite the hotel).

Guest card - where do I get it from and what is it for?
You will get your guest card after you've been checked-in.
You get discounts with your Guest Card, e.g. Free ski bus and much more!
There is a list with the reduced services at the reception desk.

Massages and beauty treatments

Do you offer massages and beauty treatments?
We are happy to arrange a massage or a beauty treatment for you.
There is a cosmetic studio just opposite the hotel.
(Closed on Sunday and Monday).

Do you have an underground car park or parking spaces?
Underground parking: € 10,00 per car/night
Free parking: along the outside and behind the tourist office (next to the hotel).
Free parking at Pension Claudia: just behind the building

Pension Claudia Guests

Please note that, you have to check-in in the hotel (main building).
You will get your key and guest card and we will direct you to the pension.


Is smoking allowed in the hotel?
Our hotel is a non-smoking hotel (all 3 buildings).
Smoking is only permitted outside the building (terrace, balcony).

Cancellation Insurance

For your holidays at the Wilder Kaiser region, we offer you the "Hotel Cancellation Plus" Insurance provided by Europäische Reiseversicherung.

More than a mere cancellation insurance for your holiday - "Hotel Cancellation Plus" also covers holiday break-off, additional charges for late arrival or involuntary holiday extension, as well as search and rescue expenses.

If a vacation is not possible due to Covid-19 restrictions, the cancellation fees will be adjusted or changed individually.


Our reception team is available from 7.30 am - 10.30 pm.
If you leave the hotel later than 10 pm, please take your room key with you.


Is there a safe in the room?
There is a safe (free of charge) in every room.

Pool area

Opening hours:
The indoor pool and whirlpools: 7.30 am - 8 pm (longer on request).
Steam bath: 3 pm (earlier on request)
Saunas: 3 pm (earlier on request)

Ski lift and ski bus

Where is the closest ski lift?
The next ski lift is just a 3 minute walk away from the hotel.
The Hartkaiserbahn is 5 minutes away (by car/ bus).
There is a ski lift just opposite the Alpenpension Claudia.

Is there a free ski bus in Ellmau?
With your guest card you can go by bus for free.
The next stop is just next to the hotel.
Timetables are available at the reception desk.

Ski or hiking pass

Where can I buy a lift pass?
You can get your ski/ hiking pass at the reception or at any lift bottom station.
There is a deposit of € 2,- per pass.

Washing and Ironing

Can I do my washing and iron my clothes in the hotel?
We don't offer a washing or ironing service.
But we do have a guest laundry.
It's € 5,- per wash and dry cycle.
Please register at reception.


Is there an internet or WiFi access in the hotel rooms?
All rooms in our hotel, our Haus Garden and in the Pension Claudia have a free Wi-Fi access.
