Ausstieg beim KaiserJet

The KaiserJet

The KaiserJet hiking and swimming bus takes you daily to all mountain railways, swimming pools and excursion destinations on the Wilder Kaiser in summer (around mid-May to mid-October).
There are a total of 4 busses in use during the high season.
Holders of a Wilder Kaiser Guest Card, Citizen Card or a lift pass travel for free.

Hikingbus Wochenbrunner Alm

This free hikers’ bus runs daily between the Ellmau Dorf/Bauhof bus stop the trailhead of the hike to the Wochenbrunner Alm Alpine hut. Passengers can change to/from the KaiserJet and regular buses at the Ellmau Dorf/Bauhof bus stop.

Hikingbus Hüttling/Moor & more

From the Ellmau Dorf/Bauhof bus stop, a free hikers’ call bus* runs several times a day via the stations Going Dorf, the fire station car park (Feuerwehrparkplatz) in Going, and the Going bathing lake (Badesee) to Hüttling. The latter is the starting point for multi-day hikes (Kaiserkrone, 3-day mountain hut hike) and day hikes (e.g. Schleier Waterfall, Moor & More). You can change from/to the KaiserJet and the regular buses at several stops.

*Please note: The Rufbus must be ordered at least 30 minutes before departure by calling Stadttaxi Ellmau/Kitzbühel on +43 5358 3912. Only if the Rufbus Hüttling/Tannbichl has been ordered will it run. On the outward journey, it is only possible to get off at the terminus, not along the route.

Hikingbus Hintersteiner See

The free "Hintersteiner See hikers’ bus" runs daily between the village of Scheffau (Dorf) and Hintersteinersee lake (alternates between the western and eastern banks). Please note: Groups of 10 persons or more must register in advance with the Scheffau tourist board. Change to/from the KaiserJet or regular buses at the Scheffau Dorf bus stop.

NEW: Park & Ride Hiking Bus Hintersteiner See

July & August 2021 from 07.07.2021

In order to reduce unnecessary traffic, in July & August 2021 there will be an extra Park & Ride hiking bus to Hintersteiner See in addition to the existing hiking buses that run from Scheffau village centre.

The bus runs daily from 09:30 - 19:00 from the gravel car park on the Loferer-Bundesstraße B178 east of the ENI petrol station in Scheffau to the Hintersteiner See Seestüberl bus stop. The parking & hiking bus is free of charge. Parking is also available free of charge at the gravel car park during the day. Attention: No vehicles may be parked overnight.Neuer Textbereich...

The use of all public buses in the region to the end stations Kufstein, Wörgl, St. Johann or Kitzbühel is included in the Wilder Kaiser Guest Card all year round. The guest card must be presented to the driver on request when entering.
