WHAT is Tour de Tirol?
The great bike races have been a role model - this is how the Tour de Tirol developed as a running race lasting for 3 days, covering the well known villages and ski regions of Tirol.
At the moment there are 3 days through different areas of Tirol with various stages to choose from. In future this event could stretch to six days going right across Tirol.
From 11th to 14th October 2018
Our new event offers a heady mix for music fans, with popular tunes from a selection of Europe’s top brass bands. All this is played before the dramatic backdrop of the magnificent Wilder Kaiser massif in the charming Alpine idyll that is the village of Ellmau in the Austrian Tyrol.
The unique Alpine Festival of Brass also offers a fantastic programme of entertainment and excursions, and the Festival Parade will live long in the memory. The mix of different genres of Brass music on two separate stages within the festival marquee will provide unforgettable musical highlights. Enjoy great brass music with us all the way from start to finish!
