Hochfilzer's Christmas punch

Since we cannot enjoy the Christmas punch together this year, here is the recipe for those who want to make the punch at home - for a little Hochfilzer feeling

Ingredients

  • 2 Oranges
  • 1 Apple
  • 1 Untreated lemon
  • 0.25 L Fruit Tea
  • 0.25 L Black Tea
  • 2 EL Raisins
  • 0.5 L Orange juice
  • 0.5 L Red wine
  • 1 Cinnamon
  • Cloves and cardamom pods
  • 100 ml Orange liqueur, rum or apple brandy
  • 6 thin cinnamon sticks, if you like

Preparation:

Cut oranges into slices. Retain 6 beautiful slices and put the remaining oranges in a saucepan.
Wash and peel the apple, cut into cubes and add.

Add the remaining ingredients and spices, bring to the boil briefly and let steep for a few minutes. Sweeten a little if you like.

Before serving, put the remaining orange slices on the cinnamon sticks and fill the glasses with them. Refine the hot punch with the liqueur and schnapps and pour it hot.
